Mt Druitt Workers Club is now known as West Tradies

Through the ClubGRANTS scheme, West Tradies has provided financial support to organisations who provide specific and dedicated services within our local community. The ClubGRANTS scheme runs annually from September to August. Organisations wishing to apply for funding will need to complete an application form, see links below. All applications are tabled at monthly Board meetings. Please plan ahead with your requests as applications for funding may take up to two months for processing.

 

For 2021 to 2022 ClubGRANTS recipients under category 1 of the ClubGRANTS scheme are:

The Better Foundation who have received $17,830 for Mt Druitt Hospital.

Rosie’s Place

Rosie’s Place who have received $8,000 for their support & counselling services for children, young people and their families who have been impacted by violence.

Wheelchair Sports NSW who have received a total of $6,000.

Funding is available under three separate categories:

Category 1: Supports community welfare and social services; community development; employment assistance activities; community health services; and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.
Category 1 Application Form

Category 2: Provides funding for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport.
Category 2 Application Form

Category 3: A state-wide fund that supports large-scale community infrastructure projects. Grants are available for sport, emergency and disaster relief, and arts and culture infrastructure.

Community groups are encouraged to apply for Category 1 or Category 2 funding by downloading and completing the relevant form. Category 1 application forms can be emailed through to the local committee or returned to West Tradies Club. Category 2 applications can be returned directly to the club, PO BOX 175 PLUMPTON NSW 2761 along with all supporting documentation.
